What is the Career Discovery Immersion?

Specifically developed for FBE students in the ‘Discover’ career mapping phase, the Career Discovery Immersion offers structured engagement with industry professionals to help you explore your career options. Whether you’re exploring majors or seeking clarity in your career direction, this series is designed to provide valuable insights and empower you to take the next step.

The Career Discovery Immersion runs twice annually, once in Semester 1 and once in Semester 2, allowing you to choose the timing that best fits your schedule.

  • Connect with FBE alumni and explore real-world career pathways through Alumni Discovery Roundtables. This interactive, in-person experience is designed to support students in the early stages of career exploration.

Meet FBE alumni and then dive into facilitated small-group roundtable discussions where you can engage directly with industry professionals, ask questions, hear diverse career stories, and gain practical insight into competitive recruitment processes and what a career in consulting really looks like.

    • Gain valuable firsthand insight by immersing yourself in the daily routines of employees at leading organisations.

In Semester 2, 2026, the program will include exclusive visits to industry leaders L’Oreal, McKinsey & Company, and RSM.

Engage with representatives from various departments to gain diverse perspectives and insights. Tour the office premises to immerse yourself in the corporate culture and working environment. Discover the key qualities and attributes sought in future recruits, and form connections that could shape your career journey.
