Master the Mic Competition

Master the Mic is a dynamic public speaking competition designed to help students build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and share their ideas with a live audience. You will create your own 2-3 minute speech of a topic of your choice. The competition runs across four exciting rounds:
- Practice Rounds & Workshops:
* Session 1: Thursday 10 September, 5pm, The Spot, Level 2, Room 2013
* Session 2: Tuesday 15 September, 5pm, The Spot, Level 2, Room 2018
Practice your public speaking in a supportive environment and receive feedback. Open to both individuals and groups, this round is all about building confidence and finding your voice. There are no eliminations at this stage, however, participation in this round is required to progress to the Audition Round and the Final. - Audition Round: Thursday 24 September, 5pm, The Spot, Level 2, Room 2013
During the auditions, all participants compete individually to secure a place in the Final Round. - Final Round Tuesday 6 October, 5pm, The Spot, Level 2, Room 2013
The top finalists return to deliver their strongest, most polished speeches. This is your moment to own the stage and truly master the mic in front of an expert judging panel.
