How to apply

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered, MIB students must:

  • have achieved a minimum 70% WAM (Weighted Average Mark) in the MIB at the time of application
  • have completed 100 credit points of the MIB by the time of departure to their host university
  • have at least 50 credit points remaining of their MIB study plan by the time of departure to their host university. (i.e. 150 point students commence at the host university in their third semester of the MIB; 200 point students commence at the host university in their third or fourth semester of the MIB)
  • meet the partner university's entry requirements

Application process:

  1. MIB students submit a completed application form and personal statement through this form before the annual deadline
  2. The Faculty will nominate the most competitive applicants to the host universities
  3. Nominees will be asked to submit an online application to their host university
  4. Successful nominees are admitted to their host university and commence their second degree in August/September of the intake year

Your personal statement should address the following questions. (Answers should be no longer than 150 words per question):

  1. Tell us about your career plans and how you think the dual degree will help you achieve them.
  2. What are the skills, knowledge and personal qualities you possess that will help you succeed in the dual degree?
  3. How will you be a good ambassador for the university as a dual degree student?

Applications must be submitted via the form before the application deadline listed below.
