MIB study plan for outbound dual degree students
To participate in the dual degree, Master of International Business students must have completed 100 credit points of their MIB and have 50 credit points remaining on their study plan at the time of departure to their host institution.
DUAL DEGREE STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE ALL THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS OF THEIR MIB:
- Foundation subjects (if admitted to the 200 point program)
- Core subjects
- Discipline Core subjects
- One of the following Capstone subjects:
o MGMT90148 Consulting Fundamentals
o BUSA90485 Global Business Practicum
o BUSA90473 Business Practicum
o BUSA90525 Business and Economics Internship
o ENGR90039 Creating Innovative Professionals
DUAL DEGREE STUDENTS MUST NOT COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SUBJECTS OF THEIR MIB:
- IBUS90001 Global Strategy*
- Elective subjects*
*Dual degree students will receive 50 points' credit towards the MIB in place of these subjects upon completion of their studies at their host institution.
International students
International students wishing to apply for an Australian Temporary Graduate visa upon completion of their studies should seek advice from the Department of Home Affairs or a qualified migration agent regarding the requirements for this type of visa before applying for the dual degree, as participation in the program may disqualify them. (Please note that Faculty staff are not able to advise students on any visa or immigration matters).
